The Teacher is simply the story of a student who is enamoured by their teacher. Is the intense relationship real? Is it all in the student’s head as a fantasy? I wanted to leave it up to the listener’s imagination to decide for themselves. I, like many young students down through the years, have been attracted to certain teachers and I felt like the subject needed a lighthearted/fun take on it.
