Indie-pop/ atmospheric lo-fi artist Amy MC has been playing and writing for the last 15 years. The Clare artist has just put out her latest release “SUN” in collaboration with Spaces Culture with a video that is the perfect homage to simple summer pleasures.
I think it is very important to amalgamate both the music and the visuals as it gives the audience a deeper sense into what I want to express. I have found it very hard to write lyrics in the past year and I wanted to find a way to get my emotions without necessarily saying anything. I wanted to think outside of the box. I love making nostalgic videos like this of my friends because I think it’s going to be a great thing to look back on when I’m 80 and remember all the fun I had.
