Filter is the third release from Galway producer Prediction. Influenced by her own work in soundtrack composition mixed with influences from electronic/lo-fi, the track is an uplifting introduction to the Irish artist.
Filter is bright, chill and full of happiness – all of the things I have struggled to feel during this pandemic. For many people, each lockdown was an opportunity to create. For me, however, my inspiration for creation dropped entirely in the first half of this year. With this, a lot of my motivation fell, and as a result, I put off releasing this track. I decided to dust my bruised ego off and recognise Filters’ character for what it is – an atmospheric euphoria that deserves to serve people in finding their definition of happiness, post-pandemic
