Watch the video for Space, the new single from Kerry’s Archmotors

“Partly inspired by Alfred Bester’s sci-fi novel ‘The Stars My Destination’ and partly inspired by loss, loneliness and months of highly irresponsible drinking. Space is a song about the breakdown of a relationship and how quickly and how far we can fall apart.”

Archmotors are Sean Lynch and Gary Landers, multi-instrumentalists who recently recorded their debut album ‘The Swimsuit Edition’.

Archmotors inhabit a world of dark humour and modern isolation: it is a world inspired by the history of the west coast where horror and hope share a bed and the monster underneath is just as afraid of us as we are of it.

Recorded at Asta Kalapa with producer Darragh Nolan (Sacred Animals), drummer Lorcan Byrne (Basciville) violinist Christophe Capewell, saxophonist Ian Finlay and ukulele player Fiona Harte.

The Swimsuit Edition LP is slated for release in Spring 2020.
