We asked some music people to tell us about tracks they love from the west coast. Here is a selection from Galway songwriter Jack Lee.
“A west coast song I like at the moment is Submarines by Daithí feat. Ailbhe Reddy. I don’t think electronic music has anything inherently Irish about it but Daithí has really carved out an area for himself that feels Irish and I love it. Ailbhe’s vocals are lovely and relaxed, they really speak to my lethargic nature during this lockdown and the musical arrangement makes me feel like I’m outside again. Gorgeous stuff!”
