Gaze is Ghost is the recording moniker of Laura McGarrigle, a classically trained composer who, having spent several years traveling between London, Paris, and Northern Ireland, has found a home for her piano in Scotland. Recently she has been joined by Donegal musician Keith Mannion (of Slow Place Like Home) and their latest releases are quite beautiful indeed.
Wild Geese was inspired by the fragile beauty of the Scottish coastline while Feather and Bone explores themes of renewal and regeneration and draws inspiration from the Inuit folk tale of the Skeleton Woman.
