Twenty-year old Cork artist Rex Arcum writes songs with the intention of converting negativity and mental struggles into something positive for both himself and his listeners. Pulling inspiration from rappers such as Logic and Kanye West and modern rock acts like Biffy Clyro and Bring Me The Horizon, the result is rap rock that may appeal fans of Linkin Park, Grandson and FEVER 333. Check out his latest release, Catalyst Therapy, below.
Catalyst Therapy is a song about having to prove yourself and what you stand for, as well as saying “f*ck you” to those who doubted you. If you truly believe in something, maybe it’s what gets you out of bed in the morning and keeps you going all day or it’s simply what you think about basically 24/7 then you go for it. We all must simply do what feels right for ourselves but no matter what you do in life there will be others who try to turn you off that dream.
