Cloud 404 relive the buzz of pre-COVID club times on City Lights

Limerick trio Cloud 404 formed a little over a year ago with the goal of playing hip-hop with live instrumentation. COVID-19 may have interrupted plans for energetic crowd surging live performances but their Spotify should pique the interest of fans of Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Outkast, Khalid and Mac Miller.

Their latest track City Lights was developed over messages sent back and forth during lockdown:

We missed the nightlife, the party buzz, everything that was taken from us when this virus showed up so we just wanted to create something that let us relive some part of that. City Lights reminds us of that night life – the flashing lights, the bass pounding in your chest, feeling alive, even the cold that hits you when you leave.

Have a listen to City Lights below – it’s a feel-good dance banger that will make you miss the buzz of pre-COVID club times.
