Caoilian Sherlock

Caoilian Sherlock’s Sucker For Love is a piece of glib anti-romance pop beauty

Following the release of two highly praised singles Shades Of You and Don’t Let Me Forget About Her at the tail end of last year, songwriter Caoilian Sherlock has just put out another beautifully produced piece of glib anti-romance pop in Sucker For Love.

Along with his band The Big Children, featuring an all star collection of some of Cork’s finest musicians (Leah Hearne, Paul Leonard, Ruairi Dale and Rory McCarthy), Sherlock combines influences from bands The Divine Comedy, Spoon, and Hiss Golden Messenger to create a compelling and adventurous country pop sound drenched in droll and self-aware sentimentality.

Another triumph from the Cork artist and an exciting introduction to his forthcoming EP.
